ny photo festival awards // honorable mention
UPDATE: the results of the ny photo awards were made friday night at the gala ceremony. out of the three photographs i had nominated, “darfur, paradise lost” — published last year in the national geographic book visions of paradise — was awarded an honorable mention. very exciting. i only wish that i could have been in dumbo to check out all the NY photo fest goings-on.
**and it appears, due to the intricacies of the NYPHA registration process that, at long last, the secret is out — for all those who’ve wondered, or asked (only to be told with a wry smile, that yes, my name is “j”) you can now peep my full name.**
